Universal announced Chris Pratt will return for a 'Jurassic World' sequel.

Congratulations, Chris Pratt! You're now a two-franchise man.

On Thursday, Universal announced that a Jurassic World sequel will hit theaters on June 22, 2018, with Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard attached to star.

Pratt's other franchise, Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy, will see its sequel hit theaters May 5, 2017.

Jurassic World took a stunning bite out of the box office. The dino film's opening haul of $208.8 million in its first weekend nudged past The Avengers' $207.4 million debut in 2012 to set a new mark as the No. 1 opening of all time. Internationally, the film has raked in a whopping $1.5 billion dollars.

Universal also announced executive producer Steven Spielberg is on board for the sequel, and Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow will be co-writing the script with Derek Connolly.
