Random act of kindness: Older man gives stranger tie tutorial

ATLANTA -- Sometimes, we all need a little help from our elders. A picture of an older man tying the tie of a younger man wearing business clothes at a train station outside Atlanta is going viral on Facebook, reports 11Alive.

The picture was posted to Facebook by Redd Desmond Thomas, who witnessed the touching moment. Thomas wrote that as the young man struggled with his tie, the woman in the red coat asked him if he knew how it tie it. The man replied no, and so she asked her her husband to help.

"The older gentleman moved without hesitation [almost a reflex response] and gave him a step-by-step tutorial; then - afterward - the elder gentleman watched the young gentleman repeat the steps and show him that he had it."

Response to Thomas's post has been massive. Since it was posted on Nov. 14, more than 150,000 people have shared and liked it.
