WATCH | 'Inside the NFL' airs mini-documentary on Cleveland Browns' 'Perfect Season Parade'

NFL Films captured the event in an effort to explain its intended purpose.

The 'Perfect Season Parade' has come and gone. But Cleveland Browns fans can now relive the glory that was their protest of the state of the franchise.

On Tuesday, Showtime's 'Inside the NFL' aired a four-minute segment documenting the parade, which drew an estimated 2,500-3,200 fans to FirstEnergy Stadium on Saturday. In the package, the parade's organizer, Granville, Ohio, resident Chris McNeil (@Reflog_18) explains the intent behind the event, which followed the Browns' winless 2017 season.

"If you care about something so much, you think that it should be treated a certain way," McNeil said. "But as fans, what can you do? You're almost powerless.

"Why don't we try to do something about it? It all really just started with a tweet. And the tweet was, 'This Browns team deserves a parade.'"

You can watch a teaser clip of the 'Inside the NFL' segment below and the full segment via McNeil's Twitter account.

McNeil admitted that the parade was polarizing, with multiple Browns players speaking out against the protest. Second-year defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah suggested those who attended weren't 'true' Browns fans, while defensive tackle Danny Shelton said it could hurt the team in free agency. Veteran linebacker Christian Kirksey also spoke out against the parade's attendees in a series of tweets.

Nevertheless, the parade carried, raising more than $17,000 for the Cleveland Food Bank in the process.
