Winter storm hits Northeast Ohio: Snow winding down

Here we go again.

Despite snow creating very difficult travel conditions Wednesday morning throughout Northeast Ohio, the National Weather Service expired many of the local winter weather alerts hours early.

Although hundreds of schools closed for the day and road conditions were tough, the snow is winding down.

Here's what's still in effect... A Winter Weather Advisory will continue until 8 p.m. Wednesday in the following counties where an additional 1-3" of snow is expected:

- Carroll

- Columbiana

- Coshocton

- Tuscarawas
