Channing Frye #9 of the Cleveland Cavaliers reacts after a play in the third quarter against the Toronto Raptors in game five of the Eastern Conference Finals during the 2016 NBA Playoffs at Quicken Loans Arena on May 25, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio.

It may not be as big as when LeBron James returned four years ago, but Cleveland fans may want to crank up that "I'm Coming Home" music.

According to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports, forward Channing Frye has agreed to a one-year, $2.4 million veteran-minimum contract to return to the Cavaliers. Frye himself confirmed the news on Instagram, writing, "Well i guess this is hello again".

Frye played parts of three seasons with the Cavs from 2016-18 and average 7.5 points per game during that stretch. He became a fan favorite for both his role on the 2016 NBA Championship team as well as his antics with teammate Richard Jefferson and others on their famous "Road Trippin'" podcast.

Frye and point guard Isaiah Thomas were traded to the Los Angeles Lakers this past February in exchange for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. While the deal was likely a net-positive for the Cavs (and served as a means to ship out the controversial Thomas), many fans were sad to see Channing leave. The 13-year NBA vet later expressed his love for Cleveland on social media, however, and his love for the area never wavered.

No word yet on if the Cavs plan to truly "get the band back together," and re-sign RJ as well, although we wouldn't bet against it, at this point.
