Police are investigating after a juvenile was allegedly robbed at gunpoint in Akron while walking home from school.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. near Biruta St. and Superior Ave. Two suspects apparently approached, with one punching the victim in the head and the other pulling out a firearm. They demanded the Michael Jordan shoes he was wearing, then fled on foot after receiving them.
Not much is known about the suspects at this time, other that they are believed to both be between 15 and 17 years old and around 5 feet 10 inches tall. One of them was wearing a light blue hoodie and black Nike jogger pants.
