Holy Week has begun: Watch Palm Sunday mass in Cleveland

Easter Sunday arrives next week.

CLEVELAND — It's Palm Sunday, which marks the start to Holy Week.

This morning, the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland offered their Palm Sunday mass as a live stream on social media. You can watch a clip from the service in the player above or view the entire service inside this story below.

"The liturgy recounts Jesus' triumphant entrance into Jerusalem prior to this passion, death and resurrection," officials with the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland posted on their site on their Palm Sunday page.

It comes as Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has asked everybody to stay at home to help slow the spread of coronavirus. On Saturday, DeWine encouraged all faithful Ohioans to worship at home.

The Pope started Holy Week on Sunday without the public present as concerns of the coronavirus continue globally.

Easter Sunday arrives next week.
