CLEVELAND — An 8-year-old girl is recovering Sunday after being injured in a shooting on Cleveland east side.
Police responded to the intersection of East 139th Street and Harvard Avenue around 9: 30 p.m. Saturday, July 4.
The girl was in the backseat of a car when it was fired at by and unknown suspect, police report. She sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. She was taken to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in stable condition.
Police have not released any information on a possible suspect or motive at this time. The shooting remains under investigation.
