Police believe man and his toddler daughter were intentionally struck and killed by vehicle in Akron driveway

AKRON, Ohio — The Akron Police Department is providing more information about the deaths of two people who were found in the driveway of a home on Sunday morning. 

The victims have been identified as 43-year-old, Horace Lee and his 1-year-old daughter, Azeria Tucker. Their deaths are being investigated as a homicide.  

Officials responded to a home in the 400 block of Crouse Street around 10 a.m. after bystanders discovered Lee and his daughter unresponsive in the driveway. Upon EMS arrival, both were pronounced dead at the scene. 

Although the investigation is still in the early stages, detectives believe Lee was pushing his daughter in a stroller on the sidewalk, when the suspect driving an unknown vehicle intentionally struck and killed the victims.    

Since Sunday morning, detectives have been searching the area for surveillance cameras in hopes of getting video of the vehicle used. If you have any information, call the Akron Police Department Detective Bureau at 330-375-2490 or 330-375-2Tip.
