Watch: Browns' Baker Mayfield throws 2nd TD vs. Jaguars to Austin Hooper

The Cleveland Browns regained a lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars when Baker Mayfield found Austin Hooper for a second-quarter touchdown.

On what marked the Cleveland Browns' third offensive drive on Sunday, quarterback Baker Mayfield missed a wide-open Rashard Higgins in the Jacksonville Jaguars' end zone.

But while Mayfield's misfire cost the Browns a touchdown and forced them to settle for a field goal, the No. 1 pick of the 2018 NFL Draft made up for it on Cleveland's ensuing drive.

After a 46-yard touchdown pass from Mike Glennon to Collin Johnson gave the Jaguars a 13-10 lead, the Browns took over at their own 16-yard line. Eight plays later, Cleveland was back on top, with Mayfield finding tight end Austin Hooper for a nine-yard score and his second touchdown pass of the day following a 5-yard throw to wide receiver Jarvis Landry in the first quarter.

Mayfield's second touchdown throw carried some extra meaning with Callie Brownson serving as Hooper's position coach for the day. With Cleveland's usual tight ends coach, Drew Petzing, missing the game due to the birth of his child, Brownson -- the Browns' Chief of Staff -- became the first female to serve as a gameday position coach in NFL history.

Hooper's touchdown haul marked his second of the season and first since the Browns' Week 4 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Meanwhile, Mayfield has now thrown 17 touchdowns in what is his third season as Cleveland's starting quarterback.

Entering Sunday's contest at 7-3, the Browns are looking to improve their standing in the AFC Wild Card race.
