Gov. Mike DeWine and First Lady Fran receive second dose of COVID-19 vaccine

JAMESTOWN, Ohio — On Tuesday morning, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and First Lady Fran DeWine took the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine less than three weeks after receiving the first. 

According to a release from the Governor's office, the DeWines received the vaccine from Dr. Kevin Sharrett at Kettering Health Network's office in Jamestown, located in Greene County.

Based on the state's current guidelines, both Gov. DeWine and Fran became eligible to receive the vaccine earlier this month as Ohioans over the age of 70.

The state is currently allowing any Ohioan age 65-and-older to be vaccinated.
