CLEVELAND — Sometimes losses can contain moral victories. This wasn't one of those times.

The Browns fell 37-14 to the Arizona Cardinals Sunday, and there was no short of things going wrong all day. From the defense to the O-line to injuries and even the officiating (again), it was an imperfect combination that led to a disastrous outcome.

Unlike the previous two losses, where there were at least some good things to provide hope, fans won't come away from this one in any sort of happy mood. What's more, Cleveland is now just 3-3 on the season, and while that's far from terrible, it's certainly not what was expected from a team pegged by most as a Super Bowl contender.

The season is effectively over. Again, Lombardi was right: if you can't block, and you can't tackle, you won't win. The Browns do neither consistently, and not nearly well enough to win championships. They don't want it enough, and aren't disciplined enough to care to want it.
