CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has a new agency. And it's one with Northeast Ohio roots.

Taking to social media on Monday, Klutch Sports Group announced that it has signed Garrett, who has earned first-team All-Pro honors in each of the past two seasons. Klutch Sports Group was founded in 2012 by Cleveland native Rich Paul, whose close friend, LeBron James, is the agency's most famous client.

While Klutch Sports Group originally began by representing basketball players, it has since amassed an impressive roster of football clients that includes the likes of Washington Commanders defensive end Chase Young, New York Jets defensive lineman Quinnen Williams and New York Giants defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux. Klutch also represents each of the Browns' previous two first-round picks in left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. and cornerback Greg Newsome II.

In signing with Klutch, Garrett becomes the agency's most prominent client, with the No. 1 pick of the 2017 NFL Draft having amassed three All-Pro and three Pro Bowl selections in his first five years in the league. Nicole Lynn currently serves as the President of Operations for the Klutch Sports Group's football division.

Prior to signing with Klutch, Garrett had been represented by Bus Cook. In 2020, the Texas A&M product signed a five-year, $125 million contract extension with the Browns, which at the time made him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL. In addition to his contract with the Browns, the 26-year-old Garrett has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Reebok, which makes him one of the apparel brand's most prominent endorsers.
