Downtown Cleveland Alliance announces plans for 2020 Winterfest with special airing Saturday on WKYC on TV and online

The official kick-off to the holiday season in Cleveland will commence on Saturday, November 28 at 7 p.m. with a special airing on WKYC, on TV and online

It's time for a holly, jolly, holiday season in Cleveland.  

The Downtown Cleveland Alliance has announced the plans for it's annual Winterfest celebration.

The official kick-off to the holiday season in Cleveland will commence on Saturday, November 28 at 7 p.m. Hosted by 3News' own Jasmine Monroe, alongside radio personality Mark Nolan, the holiday lighting ceremony will be broadcast on WKYC, on WKYC.com, the WKYC App and on the station's Facebook and YouTube pages.

The event will also feature appearances from "Mayor Frank Jackson, DCA’s Joe Marinucci, the Singing Angels, recording artist AC Jones and the jolly man in red who will delight viewers of all ages,"  a press release from the Downtown Cleveland Alliance confirmed. 

But, the fun doesn't end after the lighting ceremony. Throughout the season, DCA, will host special events and attractions from a sound and light show, to virtual craft sessions and visits with Santa, to a Santas of the World scavenger hunt!
