Watch: Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry catches 26-yard touchdown vs. Bengals

Jarvis Landry's 26-yard touchdown catch gave the Cleveland Browns a 7-0 lead vs. the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

CLEVELAND — Entering the 2022 offseason, Jarvis Landry stands out as one of the Cleveland Browns' likeliest salary cap casualties.

But if the 5-time Pro Bowl wide receiver is playing in his final home game at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday, he's already made it a memorable one.

While the 7-9 Browns have already been eliminated from postseason contention, that didn't stop several of Cleveland's key players -- including Landry -- from playing in the team's regular-season finale vs. the Cincinnati Bengals. And if there was any question about the Browns' effort in a seemingly meaningless game, it appeared to disappear on Cleveland's third offensive drive of the game.

Starting in place of quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is preparing to undergo offseason shoulder surgery, backup Case Keenum engineered a six-play, 79-yard drive, which culminated with Landry catching a 26-yard touchdown pass to give the Browns a 7-0 lead. The touchdown catch marked Landry's second of the season, although the LSU product also scored on a pair of rushing touchdowns.

Currently in his fourth season in Cleveland, Landry is scheduled to enter the season of the five-year, $75.5 million contract he signed with the Browns after being traded from the Miami Dolphins in 2018. Cleveland, however, has the ability to save $15.1 million by waiving the 30-year-old Landry, which would result in just $1.5 million in dead cap money.

With other high-priced extensions set to kick in and Landry's production having dipped, it seems reasonable to believe that Sunday could be his final game in orange and brown. And if that proves to be the case, if nothing else, it appears the veteran leader and fan-favorite will be going out on a high note.
